Our Antioxidant Alkaline Water Ionizer with 11 Platinum Plates can be directly connected to a diverter valve at the end of your faucet. Connecting our unit directly to your faucet takes about 15 to 20 minutes and enables your water ionizer to use a two step process. The first task of our Antioxidant Alkaline Water Ionizer with 11 Platinum Plates is to help filter out harmful components of the water with our built-in dual filter system, which remove chlorine, trihalomethanes, phenols, sediment, odor, taste, and organic waste. The Antioxidant Alkaline Water Ionizer with 11 Platinum Plates achieves this by using multi-stage filters.The filtered water then passes into a chamber equipped with platinum-coated titanium plates. Next, an electrical charge is introduced into this water. This is where the electrolysis takes place. The water is separated into two streams (acid and alkaline) of ionized water. The acid water (oxidized) makes up about 30% of the water and the alkaline water 70%.

Ionized water is drinking water that has undergone a process known as ionization. Essentially, this process segregates the acid and alkaline content found in water. This division is achieved by subjecting the water to electrolysis by taking advantage of the naturally occurring electric charge found within ions of different minerals.
When successfully ionized, this type of drinking water can help enhance the ability of the blood to carry oxygen and also assist in neutralizing acidic waste and free radicals from the body.

Alkaline ionized water has 3 characteristics that are important:
High pH Value
The ionized water is more alkaline than ordinary tap or bottled water with a much higher concentration of alkaline minerals such as potassium, calcium and magnesium.
ORP Value
Alkaline ionized water has a negative oxidation/reduction value (ORP). Typical tap and bottled waters have ORP values of between 150 and 300mV (potential to oxidise). Alkaline ionized water has a negative ORP ranging between -50 and -250mV giving it its capability as an antioxidant. It is regarded by many experts as having a better antioxidant capability than vitamin C.
Micro-clusters
Alkaline ionized water is micro-clustered. Water exists as groups of water molecules weakly bonded together. Ionization results in these clusters being reduced to much smaller clusters making absorption into the body much more effective giving better hydration.
Antioxidant
