The 1746-NO8V SLC 500 Eight-Channel Analog Output Module by Allen-Bradley is an output module with 8 voltage outputs and it can be installed in any slot on 1746 I/O chassis. It has 8 voltage outputs with 8 single ended output channels and backplane ratings of 120mA at 5V DC, 160mA at 24V DC (using the J4 jumper set to RACK), and 0mA at 24V DC (using the J4 jumper set to EXT).
The 1746-NO8V also has an overall backplane power output of 5.6W and a user-optional DC power source with a power rating of 24V DC. It has an output voltage range within ±10.25V DC and uses an R-2R Ladder Digital-to-Analog Converter with a Channel resolution of 16-bits (320µV/count). The 1746-NO8V has an output step response time of 1ms and it uses approximately 5ms to update signals on all 8 channels.
