The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC is an advanced interface converter. The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC provides communication between various network devices. The 1747-AIC interface converter is compatible with various SLC and MicroLogix controllers and peripherals. It also adheres to the NEMA standard ICS 2-230, EN50081-2 Class A, IEC1000-4-2, and IEC1000-4-3 standards and regulations.
The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC is also CSA certified. The relative humidity range of the 1747-AIC is 5-95% without condensation. Its operating vibration is 2g at 10-500 Hz. The operating and the nonoperating shock of this module is 30g. The operating temperature of the 1747-AIC is from -13-140 °F. The nonoperating temperature of this module is from -40-185 °F.
The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC Integrated Circuit Module also meets several Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards. It has passed the EN 50081-2 EMC - Generic Emission Standard, Part 2 - Industrial Environment regulations. This module has also passed the EN 50082-2 EMC – Generic Immunity Standard, Part 2 - Industrial Environment regulations. If you are connecting or disconnecting the cable while power applied to this module or any other device on the network, an electric arc can occur. The 24V DC power source requirement of the 1747-AIC ranges from 20.4-28.8V DC. This module has a current draw of 0-120 mA with a maximum inrush current of 200 mA. The internal isolation of this module is 500V DC.
