The 1784-KTCS is a CRT terminal module that can be used by a variety of facilities to provide an accurate monitoring solution over existing equipment. This device features a variety of configurable settings, communication ports, and power features, making it an ideal solution for different types of facilities. Even though this device does feature a set of powerful hardware as well as a flexible compatibility list, it should be noted that it is seen as a more appropriate solution for smaller facilities, where more expensive equipment would fit neither the industrial requirements or the internal operations budget. 

The 1784-KTCS features a 12-inch display module with CRT technology. This display motor offers a full-color solution that ensures that all of the features provided by the pre-installed software can be easily navigated during the operation of the device. 

This device comes with a pre-installed operator interface that features various built-in software solutions to make the process of initial configuration and setup of the device even more streamlined. Pre-installed applications allow the operators within the facility to access documents and other settings easily, as well as to monitor the performance of external devices.

To make sure you have installed the card properly, run the installation check wizard. Follow these steps: 

1. Launch the 1784-KTCS Installation Wizard. You see the Welcome screen. The wizard guides you through a series of steps to be certain that your 1784-KTCS card is installed correctly. 

2. Click Next to continue. The wizard prepares to copy the necessary files to your system directory. 

3. Click Next to continue. The wizard copies the files to your system directory and brings up the Select I/O Address window
