The Allen-Bradley 1785-L80C15 is one version of the ControlNet PLC-5 Programmable Controllers module series. This module comes with a ControlNet Network Access Port (RJ45 connector). This module is equipped with several indicators such as the ControlNet I/O Status Indicator (Green/Red), the Channel 2 ControlNet Status Indicator (Green/Red), the Battery Status Indicator (Red), the Processor RUN/FAULT Status Indicator (Green/Red), the Force Status Indicator (Amber), the Channel 0 Communication ACTIVE/FAULT Status Indicator (Green/Red), and the Channel 1 Status Indicator (Green/Red). This module also comes with a battery compartment for its replaceable battery. Please use only 1770-XYC batteries in the processor. Never use other types of batteries.
This module also comes with several channels. Channel 0 is optically-coupled (it provides high electrical noise immunity) and it can be used for most RS-422A equipment. The 1785-L80C15 has a dedicated ControlNet Redundant Media Ports BNC. The operating temperature of this module is 0-60 °C (32-140 °F). The storage temperature of this module is -40-85 °C (-40-185 °F). The relative humidity of this module is from 5-95% non-condensing.
The Allen-Bradley 1785-L80C15 has an operating shock of 30 g (3 pulses, 11 ms). The nonoperating shock of this module is 50 g (3 pulses, 11 ms).
