The purpose of the crucible cover hole :
Keep the sample in contact with the atmosphere, allow a certain degree of gas-solid reaction, and allow the gas products to be carried away with the dynamic atmosphere.so as to keep pressure balance inside and outside the crucible.
Alumina crucibles Features:
Wide temperature range.The sample has a wide application range.However, compared with PTRH crucible, its sensitivity, peak separation ability, baseline drift and other aspects are slightly inferior.Becoming semitransparent at high temperature increases the interference of thermal radiation and sample color to the test, so it is not suitable for measuring specific heat.
