The Allen-Bradley 1764-MM1RTC is a combination module that features a memory module with 8KB memory and a Real-time clock in a common housing. This module is an accessory module for MicroLogix 1500 controller. Not only it provides a battery independent memory, it also provides an accurate time and day reference for scheduling of PLC loads and control elements.The Real time clock has an unreplaceable battery. When the battery charge has been activated, it warns the user that within 14 days from the first indication, the battery will likely drain. This can be verified via the RTC:0/BL bit. If this bit is set to 1, this confirms that the battery charge is low.
