 It is at these turbine limits that the 505E can be programmed to select which one parameter will remain in control, or has priority over the other parameter. If ‘Speed priority’ is programmed, the 505E will only control turbine speed/load (Cascade PID process if used, or the Auxiliary PID process if used) when the turbine reaches an operating limit. When programmed for speed priority, the 505E will maintain speed/load (or Casc or Aux, if programmed) and sacrifice extraction/admission control
