Description
Mechanical mud pump packages are powered by diesel engines, transmitted by hydraulic transmission, hydraulic coupling or gearbox, and finally the mud pumps are driven by belts or chains. The master skid could be made into conventional skid type or trailer type easy for transportation. As per request of user, rain shield, sand shield, winter protection devices could be configured. The structure of mud pump package is easy to operate and maintenance, and owns compact, stable, safe and reliable characteristics to meet the requirements of the continuous drilling operation. The design, manufacturing and testing of related parts are compliant with following standards:
- API Spec 7K, Specification for Drilling and Well servicing Equipment
- API RP 500, Recommended Practice for Classification of Locations for Electrical Installations at Petroleum Facilities Classified as Class I, Division 1 and Division 2.
- ANSI/AWS D1.1/D1.1M, Structure Welding Code-Steel
- SY/T 6918, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards -Drilling and Well Servicing Equipment-Mud Pump
Pump package working principle: After the diesel engine power decelerates via transmission/coupling/belt pulley couple, it will achieve the mud suction in low pressure and discharge in high pressure (max. 5000 PSI if dressed with 5” liner) with corresponding discharge displacement as per the performance chart within the piston rod load limit.
Pump package shall be suitable for use in the rough oilfield environments and be able to operate in ambient temperature ranges of -20℃ to +50℃ and relative humidity of up to 90%.
