Application of calcium formate:

Feed grade calcium formate is used as feed additive, which is suitable for all kinds of animals.It has the functions of acidification, mildew proof and antibacterial.
Industrial grade calcium formate is mainly used in concrete, mortar additives, leather tanning or as a preservative.

Feed grade calcium formate: 
Feeding calcium formate to increase weight and using calcium formate as feed additive can promote piglets' appetite and reduce diarrhea rate.Adding 1% ~ 1.5% calcium formate to piglet diet can improve the performance of weaned piglets.The German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate into the diet of weaned piglets could improve the feed conversion rate by 7% to 8%, and adding 0.9% could reduce the incidence of diarrhea in piglets.
Zheng jianhua (1994) added 1.5% calcium formate into the diet of weaned piglets at the age of 28 days and fed it for 25d. The daily weight gain of piglets increased by 7.3%, the feed conversion rate increased by 2.53%, the protein and energy utilization rate increased by 10.3% and 9.8% respectively, and the diarrhea of piglets decreased significantly.
Wu tianxing (2002) added 1% calcium formate into the diet of three-breed crossbred
weaned piglets, the piglets daily weight increased by 3%, the feed conversion rate improved by 9%, and the diarrhea rate of piglets decreased by 45.7%.
It should be noted that the use of calcium formate is effective during the time before and after weaning, because the  acid secreted by piglets increases with age.
Calcium formate contains 30% easily absorbed calcium. The proportion of calcium and phosphorus should be adjusted in the preparation of feed.Domestic and international market research shows that adding 1% ~ 1.5% calcium formate into piglets' diet can obviously improve the performance of weaned piglets.The German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate into the diet of weaned piglets could improve the feed conversion rate by 7% to 8%, and adding 0.9% could reduce the incidence of diarrhea in piglets.

Industrial grade calcium formate: 
Used as cement quick setting agent, lubricant and early strength agent.
It is used in building mortar and various kinds of concrete to accelerate the hardening speed of cement and shorten the setting time, especially in winter construction, to avoid too slow setting speed at low temperature. Quick demoulding enables the cement to be put into use as soon as possible. 
Calcium formate use: all kinds of dry mixed mortar, all kinds of concrete, wear-resistant materials, floor industry, feed industry, leather industry.
The dosage of calcium formate and matters needing attention:
The dosage is about 0.5~1.0% per ton for dry mortar and concrete, and the maximum dosage is 2.5%. Calcium formate dosage is gradually increased with the temperature drop, in the summer using only 0.3-0.5% , will have obvious early strength effect.
Accelerating the condensation and hardening of concrete refers to: 
1.Shorten the initial setting time;

2.Make the retarding phenomenon of cement change normally under low temperature;

3.Enhance the growth rate of early strength;

4.Shorten the mold closing time in the module during the production of concrete precast parts;

5. Shorten the time for concrete to reach load capacity.
