Textured rubber rolls are constructed from 100% virgin SBR rubber (a synthetic rubber compound that includes no latex or recycled rubber). The color in these rolls is solid throughout. What this means is that unlike some cheap recycled rubber roll options available out there which are painted with a urethane veneer overcoat to have a solid color, Textured rolls do not have a thin surface layer of color that will wear out.
