Based upon Factor G mediated LAL pathway, Fungi (1,3)-β-D-glucan assay detects (1→3)-ß-D-glucan in human plasma or serum in one hour. The highly sensitive, rapid assay assists clinicians in identifying Invasive Fungal Disease (IFD) early in the disease process. The kit is CFDA cleared for clinic diagnostic purpose.

Immunosuppressed patients are at high risk for developing invasive fungal disease, which is often difficult to diagnose. Affected patient populations include:

Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy

Stem Cell and Organ Transplant patients

Burn patients

HIV patients

ICU patients
