The most recent addition to the GE family of gas turbines is the MS5002E which delivers high efficiency, low environmental impact and high reliability. This dual-shaft gas turbine has proven its capability for use in power generation and mechanical drive applications. 

The MS5002E uses GE’s state-of-the-art combustion technology (DLN2.5H) which has accumulated more than 14 million firing hours in the “F/FA” Class GE Frame gas turbine.

This model was designed to maintain or exceed the availability and reliability of previous Frame5 models. To maximize hot parts life duration, the firing temperature was kept approximately 100°C lower than that of the “F/FA” Class.
