Typically a double-pole- single-throw (DPST) switch is used in
conjunction with this input to enable the 505E synchronizing mode and the
DSLC’s synchronizing mode at the same time (while providing device isolation).
Refer to Volume 2, Figure 1-5 of this manual. Optionally a Function Key can be
programmed to enable the 505E’s synchronizing mode.
