Product Overview
This waterborne acrylic emulsion presents as a milky semi-transparent liquid, with a solids content of 46±1% and a pH value ranging from 7.5 to 9.5 at 25oC. Its minimum film formation temperature (MFFT) exceeds 80oC, and the glass transition temperature (Tg) reaches 90oC, with a viscosity of less than 500 mPa·s (measured by Brookfield at 25oC). The waterborne acrylic emulsion exhibits excellent compatibility with other acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions, including complete compatibility with specific acrylic products. When stored in originally closed containers at 20°C, this waterborne acrylic emulsion maintains stability for 6 months after delivery, with a recommended storage temperature range of 5~30 oC. Freezing, exposure to temperatures above 30°C, or contamination by bacteria, fungi, or algae may adversely affect the performance of this waterborne acrylic emulsion.

An aqueous colloid that requires alkali neutralization. The water resistance and resolubility can be adjusted with ammonia and amines with different boiling points. Also can be neutralized with NaOH to make water-washable coating. After high-temperature baking and decomposition, there is no residual carbonized black matter, so it can be used as colored connecting material for glass ceramics. Also can be used as resin for grinding color paste. |
