The purpose of this Product Safety Advisory is to inform you of a potential anomaly that exists with the AADvance Controller.
Bound variables in a consumer may no longer be updated after the producer has been modified by an online update.
The AADvance controllers can send data between systems (known in the Workbench as resources) within the same
application using a communications mechanism called „binding‟. Two variables are associated in the application, one
in each resource. The source of the data is called the „producer‟ and the destination is called the „consumer‟. Data is
transferred between the resources in normal operation. The problem described occurs if a consumer is not updated
after its producer has been updated.
