Manganese(Ⅱ)Chloride

Manganese(II) Chloride, MnCl2 is the dichloride salt of manganese. As inorganic chemical existting in the anhydrous form, the most common form is dihydrate (MnCl2·2H2O) and tetrahydrate MnCl2·4H2O). Just as many Mn(II) species, these salts are pink.

MnCl2•4H2O Molecular weight: 197.92; peach-color monoclinic crystal system; relative weight: 2.0; melting point: 58℃ (4 water); 650℃ (no water); boiling point: 106℃ (4 water); become no water under 193℃;8℃ solubility (151/100 water); soluble in alcohol; not soluble in ether; slight deliquescent .
