General Description
- ConnectX-5 EN utilizes RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) technology to provide high-performance and low-latency connectivity. With enhanced RDMA network capabilities, ConnectX-5 enables Switch Adaptive Routing and supports out-of-order data delivery while preserving ordered completion semantics. This ensures multipath reliability and efficient support for various network topologies, including DragonFly and DragonFly.
- In addition, ConnectX-5 supports Burst Buffer offload, enabling background checkpointing without impacting the main CPU operations. It also introduces the innovative transport service called Dynamic Connected Transport (DCT), which ensures exceptional scalability for compute and storage systems.
