The DI825 Digital Input Module had 8 channels for 125 V d.c. digital inputs and sequence of events (SOE) handling capabilities. The sequence of events time stamp has a resolution of 0.4 ms for each input channel. The inputs are individually isolated. Channel 1 can be used as voltage supervisor for channels 2 - 4, and channel 8 can be used for channels 5 - 7. If voltage supervision is disabled, channels 1 and 8 can be used as normal inputs.

Each input channel provides current limiting, EMC protection, input state LED indicator, noise filter and optical isolation from the ModuleBus
The module is also available in a version that withstand more severe environmental conditions according to ISA-S71.04.
