It prefers a well-drained, fertile soil, enriched with organic matter. Suits warm and cold climates and tolerates light frosts. Tip prune regularly and trim after flowering. ‘China Pink’ provides year round interest as a feature plant, background shrubbery, clipped hedge, in pots or as an espalier.
