The Picosecond Laser machine uses ultra-short pulses (one trillionth of a second in length) to hit the pigmentation with a great pressure in a very short time, the pigment shatters into tiny dust-like particles. These particles are more readily absorbed and eliminated by the body as the particles are so small. This can mean better clearance of the pigment or tattoo and less treatments overall.
