made from the approximately 93% of a quartz mineral and 7% unsaturated resin
with other binders,. That is why quartz products are so distinct from other
products. They look very natural. The crystal granules in quartz make the
countertop more appealing. Small granules give the quartz countertop a smooth
appearance while large crystals give the countertop a more flecked look.
Quartz countertops are
non-porous.Porosity is an important feature especially when it comes to busy
surfaces such as kitchen countertops.
The non-porous surface is resistant to bacteria and mold and is easy to
clean and maintain with just a basic wipe down with warm water,soap and a
microfiber cloth. On the other hand, quartz countertops do not need to be
sealed.
