When operating the SM 331; AI 8 xTC analog input module on an ET 200M PROFIBUSslave system and the PROFIBUS master is not an S7 master, certain parameters are notpermitted. Non-S7 masters do not support hardware interrupts. All parameters associatedwith these functions are disabled for this reason. This includes hardware interrupt enable,hardware restrictions and end of cycle interrupt enable. All other parameters are allowed.
