Q: Can the MGPM12-50Z be used vertically?

A: Yes. However, a speed control valve must be installed when using it vertically to prevent the cylinder from extending rapidly due to load drop, ensuring safe and stable operation.

Q: Is its 50mm stroke the maximum stroke?

A: No. The standard stroke range for the MGP series with a 12mm cylinder bore is 10-200mm, and 50mm is one of the commonly used specifications. If the stroke is insufficient, other stroke models in the same series can be selected.

Q: Can it be fitted with magnetic switches?

A: Yes. The cylinder has a built-in magnetic ring, allowing direct installation of SMC circular magnetic switches (such as the M9N, M9B, Z73 series, etc.) without additional partitions.
