Countertops made of quartz are manufactured man-made surfaces with contemporary appeal created from pigmented resin and ground quartz chips.Quartz slabs are 93% quartz, a natural stone. Quartz is the extremely hard mineral that gives its strength. Granite is only about 40% to 60% quartz, along with other softer minerals and impurities. Quartz is ranked as one of the hardest materials, and that makes it durable.It is not always possible to color match with the natural stones if you add another piece to your countertops. You can order the same color countertops if you go with quartz countertops.
Add this to the fact that quartz is easier to clean than natural stone surfaces, and you've got yourself an ideal material for countertops. A quartz Countertops would be perfect for home cooks and families with children.
It’s very difficult to scratch a quartz surface. In addition, if you use abrasive pads or cleansers regularly, etching of quartz is possible. However, simply avoiding these small risks should leave your surface fully clear of scratches. Quartz has some fantastic advantages, namely that it is non-porous. Unlike natural quartz, which must be sealed on a regular basis , quartz does not require any sealing in order to resist stains, making it a very popular compromise. In fact, resin binders render quartz countertops, making the material impervious to mold, mildew, and stain- and odor-causing bacteria.
About the Quality
1. Thickness: Quality allowed +-0.5mm. In production, we will measure the thickness three times to make sure it is qualified.
2. Size: We will make the slab 20mm longer and wider to make up the lack of corner problem that possiblely happen.
3. Production line QC will inspect the slab surface meter by meter to make sure the there are no bubble and other quality problem.
4. General QC will inspect the quality again, to make sure the whole quality is good.
5. We supply two years's quality warranty, if you found any quality problem within two years after you received the slabs, you can contact with our saler.
