Description
Split Aluminized Fiberglass Tube with Adhesive Strip is flexible, self-wrapping sleeve made of fiberglass and polyester monofilament covered with an aluminum foil. SWALFS is a aluminum coated split fiberglass braided sleeve, there is adhesive strip along one edge to close the sleeve after installation. This sleeve is easily wrapped over the wires, cables and hoses, then closed with the adhesive. It is reflect more than 95% radiant heat.
Features
It offers a continuous working temperature of - 40°C up to +200°C.Its self sealing adhesive reinforcement (without overlap for light weight ) allows for permanent and seamless closure. Its smooth and reflective outer surface provides an effective barrier to radiant heat.
Application
It is suitable for the protection, after connector installation of cable assemblies ,hoses and pipes from a heat source .Used within the automotive sector.
