1.What it is
The 8300A is the “power heart” of the Tricon safety platform.
Built on TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) power architecture, it delivers three independent, real-time voted 24 VDC rails to every logic and I/O module inside an 8110/8120 main chassis. One leg can fail and the system still meets SIL-3 – ideal for ESD, F&G, HIPPS and other critical loops.
