Triconex CM3201 is Communication Module. By means of the communication
modules described in this section, the
Tricon can interface with Modbus
masters and slaves, other Triconex
controllers in a Triconex peer-to-peer
network, external hosts on Ethernet
networks, and Honeywell and Foxboro
distributed control systems (DCS).
The Tricon Communication Module
(TCM) enables a Tricon controller to
communicate with Modbus devices
(masters or slaves), a TriStation PC, a
network printer, other Triconex control lers, and other external devices on
Ethernet networks.
