Vehicle urea solution (AdBlue®) is a solution prepared with high purity urea and pure water without any other additives and AdBlue® with concentration of 32.5% (mass fraction) .  AdBlue® must use the electronic industry first-class ultrapure water because of the SCR catalyst carrier is highly susceptible to metal ion poisoning and thus loses the catalytic effect . Vehicles with SCR technology must add AdBlue® as a catalytic reducing agent to make the vehicle meet the standard emissions.
