Well service plunger pump packing

The well service pump packing are used in rod glands to seal the extension rods which force fluid through the pump in positive displacement pump applications (also known as plunger pumps).  Sealing of the extension rods is critical in order to maintain system pressure.  In addition to pressure retention, well service packing must keep the pump’s hydraulic fluid and pumping media separated.
