Brief Introduction:

  •  It adopts the principle of PSA (pressure switch adsorption) to distill oxygen from air under certain pressure, with the zeolite molecular sieve as the absorbent.
  •  The compressed air after the process of cleaning and drying goes into the absorption cartridge for absorbing, and as the zeolite molecular sieve filled in the column absorbs most of the nitrogen gas, the separation of oxygen and nitrogen can be realized with the functioning of PSA. Then oxygen will be output through the adsorption bed as product, while the adsorbed impurities will be taken off under negative pressure for regeneration of the absorbent. The oxygen generator system is equipped with two adsorption columns: one generates oxygen through absorption while the other takes off for regeneration, which is automatically controlled by PLC program to make the two columns work in alternative cycle to generate oxygen gas continuously.

Brief Introduction of Working Process:


  • The raw gas first passes the compressor to have its pressure boosted up to 0.6Mpa, then goes through the air drying and purifying system to be removed of oil, water, dust, carbon dioxide, and other nocuous impurities. After entering into the bottom of the absorption column, the airflow diffuses through the distributor and performs PSA separation under the effect of zeolite molecular sieve. The oxygen gets enriched in the gas phase, which will flow through the top outlet and enter into the oxygen process tank, precision filter, pressure regulator, and flow meter for the output of product oxygen.

The data listed in this table are based on the raw material compressed air pressure of 0.6MPa (gauge pressure), the air consumption is the actual flow before entering the adsorption cylinder, and the 20℃ ambient temperature, 0 meter elevation and 80% relative temperature are the design benchmarks.
The VPSA process is used for the oxygen generator with the output of 150Nm3/h~3000Nm3/h. If necessary, the process technical plan will be provided separately.
