Also known as a gate valve, a gate valve is a valve with the shutoff valve moving vertically along the center line of the path.Used for switching on or cutting off media.

Gate valve advantages:

1.Low fluid resistance.

2.Less external force is required to open and close.

3.The flow direction of the medium is unrestricted.

4.When fully open, the erosion of sealing surface working medium is smaller than that of globe valve.

Recommendations for gate valve application:

1.Pipe threaded gate valves shall be connected with pipe threads at the pipe ends to control the length of pipe ends so as to avoid excessive screwing at the pipe ends and pressurizing the inner end of the pipe threads of gate valves, which will cause seat deformation and affect the sealing.

2.When the gate valve is applied to saturated steam, the saturated steam pressure ≤ 0.6Mpa.

3.In order to extend the service life of gate valve, gate valve should be fully open and fully closed. It is not suitable to partially open and throttle the valve, because when partially open, the flowing medium will erode the sealing surface, thus affecting the sealing performance.

4.Hard seal not fit in terminal.

Delivery Details : Generally it is 5-10 days if the goods are in stock. or 15-30 days if the goods are OEM or not enough subject to the order quantity. But anyway, normally, we are able to make sure the delivery will not exceed 45 days.
