Purpose and Benefits

Specification

• Material: Most green scaffolding nets are made of UV-resistant polyethylene (PE) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) monofilament. Some styles may also use PVC-coated polyester fiber or nylon and add UV stabilizers to effectively extend the service life.
• Structure: Open-weave mesh is usually used. The special mesh structure design allows air circulation while effectively blocking debris, effectively reducing the wind load of the scaffolding in strong winds, ensuring the stability of the scaffolding structure, and improving the comfort of workers.
• Reinforced edges: Reinforced edges are usually provided with holes or grommets to allow for easy and secure attachment to the scaffolding structure using cable ties or shock cords.
• Weight and Durability: Weight is measured in grams per square meter (gsm) and reflects its strength and durability. Heavier nets are generally stronger and more durable.
• Flame Retardant: Flame retardant options are available and may be required by certain building codes.
• Size: Common widths include 1.8m (6ft), 2m (6.5ft), 3m (10ft), etc., and lengths can be up to 50m (164ft) or longer rolls. (Common mesh sizes are approximately 3mm x 3mm to 10mm x 10mm).
