- Exceptional Fast Drying & High Productivity
Nitrocellulose dries primarily through physical solvent evaporation, not a slow chemical reaction. This allows for touch-dry times as fast as 15-20 minutes and rapid recoating, dramatically increasing production throughput in factory settings.
- Superior Ease of Application & Repair
Its low molecular weight and solubility in a wide range of solvents make it exceptionally easy to spray, providing excellent flow and leveling. Most importantly, the fresh coat will partially re-dissolve the previous one, creating a seamless, inter-coat adhesion and allowing for flawless spot repairs without sanding the entire piece.
- Unmatched Clarity & Natural Aesthetics
NC lacquers form a very thin, crystal-clear film that does not yellow over time. This highlights the natural beauty and grain of the wood without adding an undesirable amber cast, making it ideal for light-colored woods.
- Excellent Sanding and Polishing Properties
As a thermoplastic material, NC cures to a relatively soft film that can be easily sanded and buffed to a high-gloss, mirror-like finish between coats and for the final product, ensuring a flawless surface.
- Proven Durability for Interior Use
While primarily for interior furniture, the resulting film offers more than sufficient hardness, scratch resistance, and good resistance to common household liquids (water, alcohol, cosmetics) for its intended applications.
- Reduced Environmental Impact & Compliance
Modern Nitrocellulose formulations can utilize refined solvents and plasticizers to achieve low-VOC, low-odor variants. This significantly minimizes the ecological footprint and improves the working environment, while ensuring compliance with increasingly stringent international environmental regulations.
- Finish coat for interior wooden surfaces.
- Finish coat for home and office furniture, doors, etc.
- The surface must be clean and free from oil, grease, dirt, lime scale and any other foreign contaminants.
- The sandpaper is applied in the direction of the wood fruit, and it is taken into account to wipe the dust.
- Close the pores by repeated application of a sealer of Runshine products.
- Dilute the varnish with %50-100 of Thinner.
- Applying by spray gun (1.3 – 1.4 mm) (3 – 4 bar) with 2-3 coats and flash off time
- between each coat is 5 minutes.
All tools should be cleaned with Wash Thinner.
24 months in the original package, tightly closed at a temperature of 25 C and %65 R.Hand away from direct sunlight and heat.
6-8 m / kg per coat at 50-60 microns DFT. Practical coverage varies depending on porosity of wood, DFT applied and application method.
