T8122 is a zero-slot, back-plate “protocol translator” that converts the Trusted® triple-redundant back-plane into three isolated serial highways. DCS, ESD or any third-party RTU can now chat Modbus RTU/ASCII straight to the TMR core—no extra cards, no loss of SIL.
