Overview
Low Voltage (LV) Power Cables are used in 0.6/1 kV distribution systems to transmit and distribute electricity in industrial plants, commercial and residential buildings, and municipal projects. XLPE or PVC insulation is commonly adopted for stable electrical performance, thermal endurance, and aging resistance. Options include armoured or non‑armoured constructions, flame‑retardant or fire‑resistant designs, and optional shielding to suit diverse installation environments.
Typical voltage rating: 0.6/1 kV
Conductors: Copper or aluminum, class 1 solid / class 2 stranded, round/sector, compacted
Insulation: XLPE (typical) or PVC
Shielding (optional): Copper wire/tape screen where EMC control is required
Mechanical protection: Steel tape armour (STA) or steel wire armour (SWA) for enhanced durability
Outer sheath: PVC, PE, or LSZH
Applications: Building distribution, industrial power and lighting, utilities and municipal infrastructure, cable trays/ducts/direct burial
Standards: IEC 60502‑1, GB/T 12706.1, IEC 60332, IEC 61034/60754 (LSZH)
Key Features
Excellent conductivity and stable electrical performance; continuous operating temperature up to 90°C (XLPE)
Optional flame‑retardant and LSZH sheath for stringent fire‑safety environments
Armoured constructions available for direct burial and high mechanical protection
Broad installation compatibility: trays, ducts, conduits, tunnels, and direct burial
Typical Construction (Multi‑Core, XLPE/PVC, Optional Shield, Armoured)
Layered from inside to outside
