General Description

Needle Choke Valve is one of the Adjustable Choke Valves. The rotating handwheel drives the up and down travel of the valve needle that results in the changes of the cross-sectional area of the cavity, and then the flow and pressure change.

Application

Needle choke valve generally works for occasions where the load doesn't change much or where unsteady flow volocity is allowed. The valve play an important role in regulating flow and pressure and could be applied in wellhead equipment, X’mas tree assembly, choke line and other high pressure pipe lines.

Structure Features

1. Valve needle and valve seat are made of hard alloy steel YG8， which brings more better resistence to eroosin and longer service life.

2. Flanged, Threaded and Union connected are optional;

3. Stem seal design covers full range of temperature and pressure levels and meets the fluids application requirements in the wellhead and manifold service;

4. A pressure relief device is installed in the valve body to ensure the safety when replace the pressure-controller in the pipeline.

5. The hammer union connected bonnet simplifies the structure,which makes this Adjustable Needle Choke Valve easier to be maintened.

6. The openning indicating device on valve body allows the area of the orifice can be directly observed

7. Valve stem could be clamped in the specified place in order to make sure the steady flow of the liquid
