The ThinkSystem 440-8i SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBAs is a high performance PCIe 4.0 host bus adapters for internal storage connectivity in ThinkSystem servers. The adapters integrate the latest enhancements SAS technology and offer 8 of 12 Gbps SAS. The adapters are available in two form factors, low-profile PCIe and a custom form-factor design. The custom design adapter is cabled to an onboard PCIe 4.0 x8 port on the server and not occupy a standard PCIe slot.
