1.Why “Supervised”
The 3625 is the only Triconex DO card that keeps beating while it sleeps: every 50 ms in the OFF state it injects a 2 mA diagnostic pulse.
Broken wires, missing loads or shorts-to-supply are reported in <100 ms—long before the safety function is called—giving every conductor its own built-in continuity tester.
2.Two densities, one slot
3625-16: 16 ch, steel-blue label, 0.8 A/pt—perfect for high-impedance pilot valves
3625-32: 32 ch, dark-blue label, 1.7 A/pt—double the density, only 30 % more power
Both use triple-modular-redundant MOSFET voters; lose two legs and the 2oo3 verdict still holds.
