MP3101 is the second-generation Main Processor for Tricon TMR systems. It occupies the left-most slot of any rack, executes 2oo3 voting, scans all I/O, time-stamps SOE events, manages communication and runs the user application.
Three MP3101 units operate in parallel; any single failure leaves the system SIL-3 capable.
