Wafer type ball valve: For the clamping ball valve, the clamping butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in size and light in weight, and consists of only a few parts. And only need to rotate 90° can quickly open and close, simple operation, and the valve has good fluid control characteristics. When the ball valve is in full open position, the valve plate thickness is the only resistance when the medium flows through the valve body, so the pressure drop generated through the valve is very small, so it has better flow control characteristics. The tower valve has two types of sealing type: elastic seal and metal seal. Elastic sealing valve, sealing ring can be inlaid on the valve body or attached to the valve plate peripheral.
Valves with metal seal generally have longer life than those with elastic seal, but it is difficult to complete seal. The metal seal can adapt to the higher working temperature, while the elastic seal has the defects limited by the temperature.
If the ball valve is required to be used as flow control, the main thing is to correctly select the size and type of the valve. The structure principle of ball valve is especially suitable for making large caliber valve. Ball valve is not only widely used in petroleum, gas, chemical industry, water treatment and other general industries, but also used in cooling water system of thermal power station.
The commonly used ball valve has two kinds of ball valve, the pair type ball valve and the flange ball valve. For the clamping ball valve, the valve is connected between the two pipe flanges with double head bolts, and the flange ball valve is with flange on the valve, and the flange on both ends of the valve is connected to the pipe flange with bolts.
