The RHB-40A model handheld Brix refractometer measures sugar concentration level in the liquid. It features two sets of scales: Brix and Baume, the specifications of which are listed in the table below.

The main body of the instrument is made of copper to maximize accuracy and durability.
This model has Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC). Models without ATC are also available at a lower cost.
