Description:
Tripotassium phosphate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula K3PO4. It is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. It is mainly used as a food additive. The pH value of a 1% aqueous solution is approximately 11.5.
 
Application:
Tripotassium phosphate is mainly used as an emulsifier in the food industry; Potassium fortifier; Alkaline water for preparing noodle products; Seasoning agents; Meat binder; Buffer; Antioxidant enhancers; Chelating agent. Used for meat products, non carbonated beverages, fruit and vegetable peelings, low magnification concentrated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream powder, milk powder, processed cheese, etc.
