Testing

Testing Description

Testing Requirement

1

Vibration test

Put a 100% charged battery on a vibration platform at room temperature and shake for 30 minutes according to the following parameters:
Amplitude: 1.6 (p-p) Frequency: 10-55Hz Direction: X, Y, Z

No cracking, no fire, no leakage

2

Short Circuit

After the battery is fully charged, a short-circuit current of 500A is passed to the battery for 60 seconds.

No explosion, no fire

3

Heavy object impact

After the battery is fully charged, place it on an impact table and drop it freely from a height of 0.61m with a 10kg weight hammer.

No explosion, no fire

4

Overcharge

The battery is discharged to 1.0V with a constant current of 1C at normal temperature, and then charged to 10V with a current of 3C, and ends when the current approaches 0mA.

No explosion, no fire

5

Squeeze

After the battery is fully charged, sandwich it between two metal plates and apply a force of 13KGF for 60 seconds.

No explosion, no fire

6

High and low temperature

Constant current and constant voltage 1C and 4.2V charge cut-off current 0.02C at room temperature, respectively at -20 ℃ \ -10 ℃ \ 0 ℃ \ 25 ℃ \ 60 ℃ (12 hours at low temperature, 2h at high temperature), 0.5C Discharge to 1.0V; test the discharge capacity of the battery.

Discharge capacity ≥ initial capacity * 70%

7

Charge retention
Storage performance

Measure the initial capacity of the battery using standard charge and discharge conditions, and then store the battery in a standard environment of 25 ± 5 ° C for 28 days after standard charging. Discharge at 1C to the end-of-discharge voltage to test the remaining capacity of the battery. Then test the battery's recoverable capacity according to standard charge and discharge conditions.

Remaining capacity ≥ initial capacity * 85%
Recovery capacity ≥ initial capacity * 95%

8

Cell cycle test

Standard charge and discharge, cyclic test, until the discharge capacity is less than 70% of the initial capacity for two consecutive times, that is, the cycle life is considered to end

800 times

9

Thermal shock

The fully charged battery is heated in a strong convection oven. The temperature of the oven is increased from room temperature to 130 ± 2 ° C at a rate of 5 ± 2 ° C / min, and the temperature is kept constant at this temperature for 10min.

No explosion, no fire

10

Drop

Drop a 100% charged battery from a height of 1.0m to a hardwood board of 18-20mm thickness placed on a concrete floor, and drop freely once in each direction

No cracking, no fire, no leakage

11

Plug test

Insertion force ≥1kg Extraction force ≤3.5kg Insertion speed 12.7mm / min

1000 times

12

Insulation withstand voltage test

Apply a high voltage of 1200V / min to the product, and the leakage current is 0.5mA

No breakdown

Shelf life and product liability

The warranty period is 12 months from the date of shipment (printing). The company is not responsible for accidents caused by failure to operate in accordance with the provisions of this specification. When there are some changes in this specification, the company will notify the buyer.
Warnings and precautions when using the battery
To prevent possible battery leakage, heating, and explosion, please note the following precautions:
caveat!
• 1) Do not immerse the battery in seawater or water, and store it in a cool and dry environment when not in use.
• 2) Do not use or leave the battery near a source of heat or high temperature, such as fire or heater.
• 3) Never use the battery upside down.
• 4) Never insert the battery directly into a power outlet.
• 5) Do not throw batteries into fire or heater.
• 6) It is forbidden to directly connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with metal.
• 7) It is forbidden to transport or store the battery with metal, such as hairpins, necklaces, etc.
• 8) Do not knock or throw, step on the battery, etc.
• 9) Do not directly weld the battery and pierce the battery with nails or other sharp objects.

Precautions:

• 1) Do not use or place the battery under high temperature (hot sunlight or in a hot car), otherwise it may cause the battery to overheat, function failure, and shorten the life.
• 2) It is forbidden to use in places with strong static electricity and strong magnetic fields, otherwise it is easy to damage the battery safety protection device and bring unsafe hidden dangers.
• 3) If the battery leaks and the electrolyte enters the eyes, please do not rub it. Rinse the eyes with clean water and immediately send it to a doctor for treatment, otherwise it will hurt the eyes.
• 4) If the battery emits abnormal odor, heat, discoloration, deformation, or any abnormality during use, storage, or charging, immediately remove the battery from the device or charger and disable it.
• 5) If the electrode is dirty, wipe it with a dry cloth before use, otherwise it may lead to poor contact or functional failure; used batteries should be wrapped around the electrode to prevent short circuit, high temperature and fire!
