Application:
1.Graphite powder is mostly consumed for refractory, steelmaking, expanded graphite, brake linings, foundry facings and lubricants.
2.Graphite has found uses as the marking material ("lead") in common pencils, in zinc-carbon batteries, in electric motor brushes, and various specialized applications.
3.Graphite composites for bearings, pistons, and liners in engines, metal matrix composites for reduced friction and wear.
4.Graphite powders has been used in at least three radar absorbent materials. It was mixed with rubber in Sumpf and Schornsteinfeger, which were used on U-boat snorkels to reduce their radar cross section.
5. Apply to the tiles on early F-117 Nighthawks. Modern smokeless powder is coated in graphite to prevent the buildup of static charge also the application of the graphite powder.
