The ADT8960 card is a high performance three-axis servo/stepping control card basing on PCI bus. One system supports up to 16 control cards, controls 96 channels of servo/stepping motor and supports PNP. The pulse output mode is either single pulse (pulse + direction) or double-pulse (pulse + pulse). The maximum pulse frequency is 2MHz. With advanced technology, the frequency error is lower than 0.1% when the output frequency is high. Support random 2-6axes linear interpolation.

Position management:

Use two add-subtract counters; one is the logical position counter for internal management of driving pulse output and the other is actual position counter receiving external pulse input. The input signal is the coder or grating bar inputted by A/B phase, or the input signal of up/down pulse. The bit of actual position counter is 32 and the maximum range is –2,147,483,648+2,147,483,647. The external input also may be through handwheel and used as common counting.

Speed control:

Available speed controls include constant and S curve acceleration/deceleration, can change the speed and target position in real time during motion

Cache function:

Large capacity hardware cache ensures the continuous motion, supporting cache of up to 342 four-axis interpolation commands, 410 three-axis interpolation commands, 512 two-axis interpolation commands, and 682 single axis driving command


Emergency stop input:

The ADT-8960 control card provides emergency stop function to ensure the safety of the machine tool. If there is any emergency, press the emergency stop switch to stop the pulse signal output immediately, ensuring the high security of the machine.

The external signal driving may realize quantitative driving, continuous driving and hand-wheel driving

The position latch can latch the pulse of internal counter and external coder
