About the silicon carbon whisker dispersion:
Due to the silicon carbon whisker is a gray green powder, it should distributed uniformly in the matrix material in order make the best effect on the reinforced toughened application.therefor it must dispersion the product in the process use. As following step:
1.Selecting a dispersion medium. Such as water, ethanol, isopropanol, etc it is ok.
2.Selecting a dispersant which PH is better to near 7.
3.Adjusting the dispersion medium PH. General adjust to 8 it suitable.
4.Stir evenly.
Please note:
1.Can't use ultrasonic to dispersion the silicon carbon whisker.
2.Can't use ball mill to dispersion.
3.In aerobic conditions, whisker heating temperature shall not exceed 700 ℃
