Nano cupric oxide powder application:

1. Used as a pigment like glass, ceramics, polishing agent for optical glass, solvent for chromic iron ores; 

2. Also used to make rayon, other copper compounds, acrylates, batteries, electrodes, and magnetic storage devices, 

3. for desulfurizing oils, in sweetening petroleum gases, electroplating, purification of hydrogen and waste gases, catalysts, cloud seeding agents, solar energy devices, cigarette additives, animal feeds, and catalytic converters; 

4. Other uses include correcting copper deficiencies in soil, in high temperature superconductors, as source of oxygen, in the determination of nitrogen, and as a dietary supplement; 

5. Copper oxide is used in the ceramic industry for imparting blue, green or red tints in glasses, glazes and enamels. It is occasionally employed for incorporation in mineral supplements for insuring against an insufficiency of copper in the diet of animals. Among its other uses is the preparation of solutions for the rayon industry.
